What is Shram Swikriti?
Shram Swikriti (श्रम स्वीकृति) is Nepal's official government exit clearance for workers going abroad. It is completely separate from your Japan SSW visa — the visa is Japan's permission to enter Japan, but Shram Swikriti is Nepal's permission for you to legally leave Nepal for foreign employment.
You apply through the FEIMS portal (Foreign Employment Information Management System) at feims.dofe.gov.np, managed by Nepal's Department of Foreign Employment (DoFE).
🔑 You need BOTH. Japan gives you the SSW visa. Nepal gives you Shram Swikriti. You cannot legally board your flight without both approved.

Always verify your agency's DoFE license number BEFORE paying anything — cross-check at the official DoFE portal (dofe.gov.np), never trust a verbal promise. Ask for the license number in writing and look it up yourself. A legitimate DoFE-registered agency will never object to this.
